We Care Connect’s volunteer team provides local disadvantaged children with practical everyday essentials like clothing, car seats, prams and cots to fundamentally reverse the impact of childhood poverty.  collect community donations of pre-loved children’s clothing and quality baby items and give them to families in need.

 

They care about local kids living in poverty – their target group is the 30,000 children living in poverty throughout the Central Coast and Hunter. They are a volunteer-run charity that connects local generosity with children who desperately deserve support. They firmly believe that having less doesn’t mean being second best.

 

We Care Connect restores safety, dignity and self-worth to vulnerable children by providing them with great quality clothing, safe and warm bedding, essential equipment, and school/developmental items – all donated by generous community supporters.

 

Since 2016, their volunteer team has supported over 16,000 children distributing more than 440,000 items free of charge in partnership with over 100 family support programs. They have grown every year, from helping 440 children in their first year to an anticipated 4,500 in 2023.
