Over the last 12 months the rescue squad has been activated by NSW Police to attend 358 rescues and NSW SES for 76 flood rescues. This brings the total number of activations to 434 rescues.

The funding the Wyong Roos Foundation provided to the Central Coast VRA was an essential source of financial assistance. It allowed them to deliver this vital service without compromising business continuity.

The projects last year the squad set out to achieve were completed with success and allowed the rescue squads first responders to undertake their work with upgraded communications and equipment that is fit for purpose that reduces time for patients awaiting rescue and medical treatment.
